Performance Management Training

Vision Consulting believes that effective performance management is more than simply conducting regular One on One discussions regarding performance or carrying out annual appraisals. Performance management is the process of creating a work environment in which people are enabled to perform to the best of their abilities. Performance management is a whole work system that begins when a job is defined as needed. It ends when an employee leaves your organisation. Delivery of Performance Management Training
Vision Consulting adopts a case-study-based approach to Performance Management Training. The case study will form the basis of the Knowledge Programme; this methodology has already been used to train team leaders and managers in a number of public and private sector organisations.
Our programmes can be delivered remotely or in a classroom learning environment. During sessions, delegates will engage in practical discussion as well as actually practising all the performance management skills they will be expected to execute after the training ends. There will be time allocated for discussing and addressing the current difficulties delegates may be experiencing within their actual teams. Participants will learn how to modify their leadership style and will also be exposed to change management concepts and activities that will help them address many people-oriented issues as well as process issues before they become roadblocks to their team’s success.
After each of the training sessions delegates will be expected to put into practice their learning. In addition, delegates will be set tasks and activities, some of them written, which they will be expected to complete before the next training session. The successful completion of these tasks will contribute to our assessment of whether or not delegates possess the skills to be effective performance facilitators.
We understand the importance of constructive feedback as a development tool; therefore at the end of the Knowledge Programme our consultant will provide structured feedback to each delegate as well as agreeing with each a Personal Development Pathway.
